About This Site

Dear Reader,

Welcome to this new venture. I have designed this blog to address the following aims:

1. To provde easy and quick access to online material exploring the Catholic tradition and contemporary studies of faith and sexuality.

2.To provide a forum for sharing some of my reflections and experiences as a Gay Catholic in Brisbane. This sharing is provided in a blog to promote discussion and response from readers.

3.  To provide a safe place for those exploring issues of sexuality, their families and friends.

The primary audience is anyone concerned about the culture of discriminaton against Gays and Lesbians in the Catholic Church. My hope is that the material provided on this site will inspire reform and encourage my sisters and brothers in the Church to hear Christ’s cal to “Come Out” so that we can be set free from the bonds of shame and discimination in our faith community.
